Wade Bauer,
Executive Director Malama Aina Permaculture Experience: Wade has taught Permaculture for over 13 years, with 10 years in Hawaii. He is the founder of Malama Aina Permaculture: Edible Landscape Design, Education & Nursery based in Kapoho Hawaii. Malama Aina Permaculture is focused on permaculture design and education and being a demonstration site modeling a locally appropriate sustainable homestead. Wade has worked and studied on a wide variety of homesteads, farms, and communities, at various locations and microclimates in Hawaii. He is experienced with, propagating, growing, harvesting, and cooking the most important food crops for homesteading in Hawaii. As well as his hands on experience Wade has extensive experience researching both online and through many books on tropical permaculture, agroforestry, forest gardening, organic gardening, landscape design, and related fields.
